The Chamber Golf Tournament is one of the longest-running golf tournaments in the Drumheller area. It is a fun day of golf and food, and an excellent networking opportunity.

We've renamed the tournament: The "Jurassic Classic!" 2016 will mark the 21st year of this tournament. It will be taking place Friday, August 19, at the Dinosaur Trail Golf and Country Club. Registration is at 1:00 pm and the shotgun start is 2:00 pm.

Proceeds from this tournament help support the Chamber's Business Leaders of the Tomorrow scholarship program, which provides scholarships to local students attending post-secondary business programs.

This 9-hole networking tournament is open to all skill levels. Texas scramble format.
Registration is $100 per golfer and includes ~registration gift~contests~silent auction~prizes~fantastic supper~free snacks and drinks on the course~ AND: an opportunity to network with fellow members of the business community.

Recently there have been discussions about hosting a Pheasant Festival in the Drumheller area in the spring of 2017 (March). Other communities in southern Alberta have hosted similar events – Stettler and Taber. New for 2016, the Highway 41 Pheasant Festival will take place in the Oyen/Consort area. This type of event has the potential to bring hundreds of participants to the host community.

The Drumheller and District Chamber of Commerce has been asked to gauge local interest from the business community in hosting this type of event in the Drumheller area. Click here to complete the survey.

In an effort to continually enhance the value of membership for our Chamber members, we are currently looking into the creation of a Member 2 Member (M2M) discount program. The aim of this program would be to encourage local shopping and business-to-business interactions within the community. Business After Hours are social mixers which provide networking opportunities for Chamber members.
While primarily social in nature, Business After Hours is also a great opportunity for our Chamber members to bring people into their places of business and showcase their products, services and facilities. Too often we are not fully aware of everything that our fellow Chamber members have to offer.

Join us on Thursday, October 27th for an Open House with the Wildrose MLA for the Drumheller-Stettler constituency, Mr. Rick Strankman. It will be held from 5-7 pm at the Drumheller Legion.

This event is Open House format, no registration is required and it is open to all members of the community.
