The Drumheller & District Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the return of the Building Enhancement Grant Program in partnership with the Town of Drumheller and Community Futures Big Country. Applications will open starting January 2 with a deadline of February 15, 2023.

Local businesses are encouraged to start thinking about enhancing their building exteriors and interiors. The grant program will provide funding of up to 50% of renovation costs to a maximum of $6,000 (new for 2023) for any one business or property for either an exterior or interior enhancement. Also new for 2023, eligible exterior enhancements will include murals.

The grant also requires that labour and materials must be sourced locally from companies holding a valid Drumheller business license. This criteria will benefit local suppliers, contractors and tradespeople. Some exceptions will apply for materials that are unavailable in Drumheller.
