The Drumheller and District Chamber of Commerce is pleased to open nominations for the 2022 Business Excellence Awards, after a two year hiatus due to the pandemic.

As in previous years, the Chamber will present a total of six awards to businesses, organizations and individuals,with two new awards being added. The new Employer of Choice Award will recognize businesses or organizations that provide attractive benefits,respectful workplaces, opportunities for growth, and a reputation for high levels of employee satisfaction. The new Community Builder Award will honor businesses and organizations that contribute to the community via support of the arts,culture, sports, education, healthcare, and/or voluntary groups. Other award categories include Small Business of the Year, Large Business of the Year, Most Promising New Business and Business Professional of the Year.

Members of the public are encouraged to nominate deserving businesses, organizations, and individuals from February 9-March 18. Nominations can be submitted online, and hard copy nomination forms are available at the Chamber upon request.

The awards will be presented at the annual Celebration of Excellence event, along with awards from event partners Travel Drumheller,the Town of Drumheller and the Rotary Club of Drumheller. Representatives from all four partner organizations are working on plans to host this popular celebratory event on June 9, 2022 at the Badlands Community Facility.
