On May 4, 2021 Premier Kenney announced stronger public health restrictions in Alberta in light of increasing COVID-19 case numbers. There are two levels of restrictions: some are province-wide and some are in effect for regions that have at least 50 cases per 100,000 people, AND at least 30 active cases.
These restrictions will be in place for at least 3 weeks and will be extended if necessary. Provincewide restrictions remain in effect for all other communities.
As of 1:00pm on May 5th, the Town of Drumheller has 26 active cases.
