Bio

Originally from the Delia area, Heather completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary and moved back to the Drumheller to marry a local farmer and begin her career with the Drumheller & District Chamber of Commerce. Heather has been involved in some way, shape or form with the Chamber since the summer of 2000. Initially employed as a summer student in 2000 and 2001, Heather joined the organization full-time in May 2002. Beginning as a Tourism Marketing Assistant, she then transitioned to Membership Services Coordinator and from there, was promoted to Executive Director in February 2006. Heather and her husband have two children. In her free time, Heather can be found at the arena, as her children participate in minor hockey and figure skating. When time permits in the winter, Heather also enjoys curling. In the summer, Heather enjoys camping with family and friends in various locations throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan.
