What do current members have to say about the Drumheller Chamber?
"Joining the Chamber has helped me to get involved in the business community and to know what's going on in the area through the interactions with the Town of Drumheller, Economic Development Task Force and other organizations. The Chamber is involved in many things I didn't know they were involved with when we joined ie: policy making with other Chambers across the province and Canada. Many chambers together have a larger voice than just one. We can make a difference!"
-Shelley Rymal, owner/operator of Sage Valley Marketing and Vice President of the Board of Directors
"When I was relatively new to the community and to the Cooperating Society, being a Chamber member offered me a different way to meet people and to network in the community. I’m very passionate about rural Alberta, and one of the ways to be able to connect to your community is through the Chamber.”
-Angela Keibel, Business Manager, Royal Tyrrell Museum Cooperating Society
"I sincerely appreciate being a member of the Chamber of Commerce here in Drumheller. The dedication and commitment their team shows its members is the same as when one of their many value-added services is used. For example, through the Chambers Group Plan I was able to obtain a referral to a lawyer and to my surprise, they had a lawyer called me back within the hour. He was able to not only answer the questions I had but also had his secretary find me a lawyer closer to home. The lawyer I was referred to was very patient and understanding, and I felt that my case was important to him even though he knew he may not be able to help me. After our session, I had sent him an email a few days later, and instead of responding to the email, he personally called me back (2 hours after the email) and again assisted me and pointed me in the right direction. I am very encouraged to be a member."
-Tony Ibrahim, owner/manager of Outwest Pizza Ltd.
