The Drumheller& District Chamber of Commerce along with Community Futures Big Country and the Town of Drumheller are pleased to announce a total of $35,000 has been committed to ten local businesses through the Building Enhancement Grant Program.
Employers and service providers can apply to receive free rapid test kits for use in their organization’s COVID-19 screening program.
On May 4, 2021 Premier Kenney announced stronger public health restrictions in Alberta in light of increasing COVID-19 case numbers. There are two levels of restrictions: some are province-wide and some are in effect for regions that have at least 50 cases per 100,000 people, AND at least 30 active cases.
These restrictions will be in place for at least 3 weeks and will be extended if necessary. Provincewide restrictions remain in effect for all other communities.
The Small and Medium Enterprise Relaunch Grant offers financial assistance to Alberta organizations (businesses, cooperatives and non-profits) that were ordered to close or curtail operations, and that experienced a revenue reduction of at least 30%, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
To support businesses affected by the public health measures introduced in April 2021, a spring 2021 application period opened April 23.
We strongly encourage you to review the program guidelines before applying, as you have to include funds from previously-received COVID-19 programs in your calculations.
The Drumheller & District Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce a partnership with the Town of Drumheller and Community Futures Big Country to provide a new grant for local businesses. The Building Enhancement Grant program will replace the Storefront Improvement Grant and the Interior Building Improvement Grant previously offered by the Town of Drumheller.
